MY NAME IS alex
My Photography passion started off as a love for capturing beautiful and breathe-taking scenery. I would travel up and down the east coast of Australia every chance I could, exploring and capturing the mesmerising scenes. From here, I decided I wanted to explore bigger and better things with my photography, and so I started shooting family and friends gatherings, events and special moments. Since then, that spark of passion I had for photography grew bigger and bigger, and here we are now.
I want to make you feel as comfortable as possible during our time together. I aim to get to know you a little and understand exactly what it is you hope to achieve from our session. I will be in-contact before the date and will be open to discussion, suggestion and questions on the day as well.

I’m Alex, the face behind Luna and Willow Photography. I live in Newcastle, NSW and I am a proud puppy mama to Luna the Siberian Husky and Nala the German Shepherd..
Outside spending time with you legends, documenting your love, by day you'll find me working passionately as a Personal Trainer and in my spare time you can find me curled up with some snacks watching pretty much any true crime show/documentary/series.

Do you require a deposit?
You will be asked for a deposit to secure your session. This should be paid when all the information is confirmed as this is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Deposit range is depending on the session type.
How do I choose a location for Family or Engagement Photos?
For most sessions and packages, location is totally up to you. I have a number of places I like to shoot at, however I’m always happy to try somewhere new. Please keep in mind, depending on location and travel time, a travel fee my be applicable. If you are struggling on a location, reach out as i’m always happy to send some suggestions your way.
What happens if I need to cancel/reschedule?
I completely understand that life is crazy and unpredictable. If something comes up and you need to cancel or re-schedule your session, please ensure you send an email to alex@lunaandwillowphotography.com.au or contact me on 0419 219 001 as soon as possible.
What information is required to book?
If you like what you see, then head to the top of the page and select the CONTACT button. Fill out your details in the form and i’ll get back to you soon with a quote. Keep in mind the more information and details that is provided in the form, the better idea I can get of exactly what your after.
How long my images will be ready?
For anything other than weddings, your final gallery will be ready for download no longer than 4 weeks after your session. For weddings no longer than 12 weeks. I do try and jump into the editing straight away, so you may receive them back earlier, this is just depending on how busy I am. You receive ALL your images back, when I say all, I mean all which aren’t blurry or eye’s closed, etc.. These will be uploaded onto an online password protected gallery and the link will be sent to you. This is where you can downloaded and enjoy your gallery. Keep in mind, the earlier you can download your images from this link the better, as the link expires (this just ensures the safety and privacy for your images).
Can I purchase prints?
Absolutely! If your feeling a little nervous about paying your local photo printer to get the job done right, I can certainly help you. I only trust the highest-quality photo lab’s specialising in professional photography, this ensure your images look the best. My photography is my art, so I want them to look as amazing as possible. You can also select add-on’s to your package, such a photo-books and digital prints when booking, just be sure to let me know your interested in this.
